Paul Williamson 

Chartered Physiotherapist

Independent Prescriber & Injection Therapist 

MSc (Sports Physio), PGDip (Adv Manip Physio), PGCert (S&C), BSc (Physio), BSc (Ex’s Phys), HCPC, MCSP, ACPSEM (Gold), AACP

​Paul competed for Great Britain for over 11 years in athletics. He was 5-time British champion, won over 30 international caps including the World University Games, European Championships, Commonwealth Games and a Bronze at the European Club Cup.

​

Paul’s passion for sports medicine led him to studying for 13 years, completing a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. He is a qualified Independent Prescriber, Injection Therapist and has completed a variety of diagnostic ultrasound modules. In addition, Paul has completed over 60 post graduate courses including medical acupuncture.

 

Paul is ‘Gold’ Accredited with the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports and Exercise Medicine. He was previously an honorary clinical teaching fellow at Keele University, he has spoken at many national and international medical conferences.

Clinically Paul has worked in Orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal and Sports Injuries for 17 years and has over 7 years clinical management experience. He has worked within private sports practice, private hospitals and elite sports performance settings.

​

Paul was Physio to the Great Britain Senior Men Basketball team & as Lead Physiotherapist at the National Football Centre for 5 years he worked day to day with professional footballers, England footballers, and a wide variety of professional and Olympic athletes.  

​

Paul has been a consultant sports physio to the English Professional Referees (PGMOL) since 2013. Owning his own business since 2016 he holds contracts with Uttoxeter Gymnastics Club, The Professional Squash Association (PSA), Staffordshire Cricket elite development squads and several local football clubs. 

​

Paul uses all his experience of working with elite sports & brings this philosophy to the everyday champion. He has found great success using unique rehabilitation principles to accelerate the recovery process that are not normally accessible to the general public.

Jodie Williamson

Consultant Clinical Exercise Physiologist

BSc Hons Exercise & Health

​

Jodie competed for Great Britain and England in the Triple Jump, was British U23 Champion, British universities champion and English Schools Champion. She also completed the London Marathon in 2008.

 

Working in private healthcare for over 18 years Jodie primarily focused on the clinical aspect of health screening, cardiology and exercise physiology.

​

Jodie developed, managed and led the successful League Managers screening programme and implemented the development of BUPA Health Clinic at St. George’s Park National Football Centre. During this time Jodie has assessed the men’s and women’s England football teams, the professional referees, the league managers as well as the corporate elite, celebrities and the general public.

​

Graduating from Staffordshire University in 1999, Jodie holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology and health promotion. She has gained additional qualifications in clinical exercise physiology, phlebotomy, cardiology, motivational interviewing and is also qualified in Swedish massage.

​

Currently Jodie runs the private physiotherapy practice and works as a consultant clinical exercise physiologist for Wellness Academy.
